We are recruiting a Finance Manager for a dynamic and rapidly growing business based in Christchurch. This is a privately owned business that is expanding into the US and Europe and turnover is planned to increase 3-fold over the next few years so a great time to join.
Reporting into the Financial Controller, as Finance Manager you will oversee a small team and have responsibility for:
- preparing monthly management accounts for all group companies
- manage the year end audit process and be the primary point of contact
- preparation and filing of statutory financial statements
- Assist with VAT and corporation tax returns and ensure filed within deadlines
- develop financial models, assist with budgeting and forecasting
- analyse performance to assist business decisions
- manage cashflow
- collaborate with internal teams e.g Sales, Marketing, Operations
- assist with team development and mentoring
- ideally full time hours but 30 hours could be considered
Ideally you will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA with at least 2 years PQE. Commercial experience of financial modelling and advanced Excel skills/knowledge of Power BI would be an advantage but someone with good experience moving from practice would also be considered. A 'can do' attitude, the ability to deal with lots of data and possess good communications skills is also needed.
