Finance Manager (12month FTC)

London, Hybrid

£70,000-£85,000

We have partnered with a highly regarded real estate family office with a strong pan-European presence in their search for a Finance Manager to join their West End office.

The Finance Manager will be working closely with the Head of Finance and will be responsible for the accounting oversight of the allocated European portfolio.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a small team and being independent and flexible.

Responsibilities include:

  • Review quarterly reports and annual accounts from both internal and external accountants in various jurisdictions
  • Analyse account variances against budget
  • Present results to the Board meetings
  • Be the point of contact for local auditors and third parties, approving audit adjustments
  • Verify payments and uphold financial security through internal controls
  • Prepare and review quarterly and annual VAT and tax returns in European jurisdictions
  • Forecast and manage cashflows, recommending distributions as needed
  • Prepare bank loan compliance documentation and covenant calculations, ensuring continuous compliance and meeting deadlines
  • Coordinate with tax consultants to update local transfer pricing documentation

Requirements:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA)
  • Real Estate accounting background is essential
  • Experience supervising external accountants in different jurisdictions
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel
