Finance Lead

twentyAI are partnered with a Venture Capital Backed Scale up Ecommerce platform that have just completed a successful Series A funding round. They are looking to scale significantly and are looking for their first inhouse Finance hire.

The company are at an important and exciting early stage where commercial and strategic insight from Finance can have a significant impact to support the company’s growth. They are looking for someone who is willing to dive into many different topics and who has the appetite to work on a highly strategic level while still being close to the detail and strongly hands on, reporting directly into the CEO.

Responsibilities

  • Develop insightful analytics to inform strategic business decisions.
  • Lead the development of innovative FinTech products in collaboration with the product team.
  • Implement and maintain automated controls suitable for scale.
  • Collaborate with senior management on strategic projects including international expansion and fundraising.
  • Manage relationships with external advisors and contacts across geographies.

Requirements

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or international equivalent)
  • Circa 6- 8 years PQE
  • Willingness and enthusiasm to lead in the detail as well as give strategic direction
  • Ability to see through complexity and find pragmatic solutions
  • Desire to do things right first time
  • Experience helping a company to grow internationally
  • Ability to adapt in a fast paced, growing company
  • Willing and able to frequent the London office
