Finance Lead – FinTech platform   

Shoreditch office (5 days p/w)

£120k / £130k + disc bonus

Talentedge are proud to be partnering with an early stage FinTech startup (15 employees) on their #1 in finance position.

With a hugely impressive leadership team in place where the Founders lead the quantitative development and research areas of the business on a daily basis, this is an incredibly exciting opportunity for an operationally-minded Finance Lead to drive the commercial strategy of the business.

Key responsibilities:

  • Own and improve the day-to-day finance function
  • Turn data generated into meaningful insights in order to successfully partner Founders on driving  business decision making
  • Lead on company FP&A, commercial finance, business partnering and KPI analysis
  • Continually assess and manage risk
  • Continue to roll out key scalable & fully automated processes, controls and systems
  • Partner and line manage an external accountant who is a crypto specialist
  • Own non-financial operational parts to the business (Legal / HR etc)

Profile:

  • Qualified accountant
  • Experience of working within a high growth FinTech startup / scaleup (crypto related is advantageous however non-essential)
  • Established business partner to C Suite, Founders, Board and Team Leads who is equally happy rolling their sleeves up and getting their hands dirty
  • Comfortable working with multi currencies across multi jurisdictions  
  • Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel
  • Xero + wider ecosystem of apps exposure
