This is a Finance Director job for a leading Property Developer, Asset Manager in the Commercial, Retail and Office space owning and operating buildings predominantly across the North but they do cover the market nationally. 

You will be the Finance Director of a large business with a wider group to report into a Group CFO; over time this role is part of the business's wider succession planning. 

You will look after:

  • Statutory accounts, corporate reporting and financial governance
  • Manage relationships with external stakeholders such as auditors and banks
  • Annual budget, forecasting and monthly reporting
  • Regularly review development projects to ensure profit is maximised and risks mitigated
  • You will lead due diligence for new development projects
  • You will review the current portfolio performance on a regular basis and lead on potential sales of properties 
  • Take a lead role in the oversight of performance and the reporting of all financial and operational KPI's


You will be a qualified accountant, with experience leading a team in a Property Development business recently. Given this is a busy role, with significant management responsibilities you will be happy in and amongst the team 3-4 days a week at least, at their office in South Manchester.
