Finance Director
We are recruiting the Finance Director (No. 1 finance position) for an expanding international real estate / property Group operating across multiple jurisdictions. I am looking for an experienced Finance Director to own, develop and improve the finance function whilst acting as a true business partner to the Board and Senior Leadership Team to help drive business performance and company growth.
Reporting to the Managing Director your key responsibilities will include:
- Deliver financial, statutory and regulatory reporting for all entities in the Group.
- Produce financial and Board reporting, monthly management accounts and the Group consolidation.
- Manage the budgeting and forecasting process.
- Cashflow management, optimising working capital to support the ambitious growth plans of the business
- Analysis of business performance to help optimise efficiency and profitability across the Group.
- Lead and develop of the finance team.
- Manage all tax compliance matters.
- Manage a number of key external relationships i.e., bank, audit, tax etc.
- Own the financial framework, reviewing financial systems, processes and controls to deliver efficiencies, optimise financial control and develop reporting capability.
- Provide support on property transactions as required.
Your profile:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with extensive financial leadership experience gained in the real estate / property or potentially multi-site sector.
- Technically strong finance professional (7+ years PQE) with the ability to manage a complex finance function spanning a number of different jurisdictions.
- Commercially astute and able to demonstrate an entrepreneurial streak.
- Possess excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Strong IT skills - operating in a mind set of continuous improvement.
