Job Opportunity: Finance Director

Are you a seasoned finance professional with a passion for making a difference? Butler Rose is seeking a Finance Director to join a business in Taunton.

As Finance Director, you will play a pivotal role in providing sound financial advice to guide the business forward.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and directing the finance team to ensure high performance and development.
  • Offering expert support as part of the senior leadership team.
  • Ensuring adequate funding for our strategy, fostering long-term sustainable growth.
  • Overseeing the preparation of financial reports.
  • Managing annual budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
  • Supervising the IT infrastructure to ensure efficiency and security.

Requirements:

  • Qualification as a Chartered Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of post-qualification experience, with a focus on financial management.
  • Proficiency in various accounting areas, including statutory and management accounting.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across all levels.
  • Strong leadership qualities and emotional intelligence.
  • The ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
