Ever wondered what it would be like to have a Finance Director job that was also more purposeful, meaningful and impacting?

This is your chance to find out.

I would not be here today if it wasn't for the support I received from this very organisation when my mental health deteriorated.

A lot of my inspiration for my recruitment agency and the focus on raising mental health awareness was inspired in part by this organisation.

There's something about working in non-profit organisations - feeling like you're part of something special due to their purpose, values and mission. Not to mention the amazing people you work with, for and alongside. The purpose/passion side will draw you into this role - the chance to make a real difference beyond the organisation itself.

This Mental Health Charity is providing a range of mental health and wellbeing services to people across the Yorkshire region.

Mental ill health issues in the workplace and society is something that can't be ignored. The post-pandemic world sees the continuous rise of stress, anxiety, depression, addiction, suicide and other mental ill health conditions.

It is critical organisations like these continue to operate and provide the crucial services they do.

As important for this non profit is a Finance Director who can really buy into what the organisation do, and use their financial acumen and passion for wanting to work in a purpose-driven organisation.

The CEO is nothing short of inspirational - having used their services initially, to then starting at a lower level support trole. He has risen through the ranks to become the CEO.

As the Finance Director your role is crucial to the continued evolution of the organisation at a time when costs need to be scrutinised, budgets are tight and funding is under constant scrutiny.

This is where you will come into your own - you bring a wide range of experience, having worked across a broader set of roles.

From having a strong sense of controls, compliance, and high-quality reporting/insights to instilling more commerciality for the org to make better decisions. Not many things will be off-limits in this Finance Director role.

You'll also have a broader IT/Resources remit, allowing you to review, develop, and improve systems and processes organisation-wide.

If you are a CIMA/ACA/CA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) and would like more information - including a detailed candidate pack at the organisation's latest strategy document then get in touch.
