Finance Director - Manufacturing Company - Southend-on-Sea - up to £65,000 per annum plus bonus - DOE

The ideal candidate will report directly into the CEO, contributing to the overall success of the organisation by effectively managing all financial tasks. They will oversee the financial operations of the business and provide frequent financial reports. They will also assure strict adherence to financial regulations and compliance.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Banking and Cash flow
  • Responsible for all Purchase and Sales ledger
  • Payment runs
  • Oversee all payroll functions
  • Effectively maintain all financial records
  • Reporting for Sales forecasting
  • Inter-company accounts
  • Month end; Costing, P&L, Balance Sheet, Budgets, spreadsheets
  • Export paperwork
  • Insurances
  • Tax
  • Year End

Requirements

  • ACCA or CIMA qualified, or working towards
  • Experience working for an SME, Manufacturing company, highly advantageous
  • Strong cashflow forecasting experience
  • Small finance team, therefore the successful candidate needs to be happy in a hands on role

Package

  • 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday with 1 hour lunch
  • Up to £65,000 per annum
  • 21 days annual leave plus bank holidays, increase with number of years served
