Finance Data Analyst

Elevation Accountancy & Finance are excited to be working with a financial services business based in Rotherham as they look to recruit a Finance Data Analyst into their team!

Duties & Responsibilities of the Finance Data Analyst will include: 

• Preparation of different month end reports including updating forecast with management accounts data
• FCA reporting at various periods
• Assist with the production of Bank Pack reports
• Update monthly cost analysis XLS data for auditors
• Group annual audit liaison and production of supporting documentation
• Preparing ad-hoc reports requested by the Head of Finance or the Management
• Lead in report automation projects
• Represents Finance Department in any system related projects
• Process review and implementation of new processes in the finance systems
• Automation of the following reports: departmental reports with variance analysis, group level consolidated variance analysis, relevant mortgage schedule, other monthly reports
• Automation of monthly accounts presentations (dashboard possibilities) at Group and cost centre levels
• Assist with the automation of new loan book reports
• Implementing new loan book balancing procedure 
• Automation of Relevant mortgage schedule with IT dept. dependant 

Key Skills & Experience required: 

• Advanced Excel Knowledge, User experience in financial accounting software
• Minimum 2 years in reporting or report development
• Prior experience in a finance environment, Sage200 experience, System admin experience
• Participation in system implementation/upgrade projects, SQL database
• A good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of Programmes
