Job Title: Interim Finance Consolidation Manager

Location: Leeds, with flexibility for remote work

About the Role:

As a Finance Consolidation Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the Senior Finance Reporting Manager in ensuring accurate financial reporting for Zenith's Car & Van division, particularly during a period of transitioning leasing systems. Your responsibilities will include building robust controls, refining balance sheet reconciliations, assisting with group reporting, supporting audits, and contributing to ad hoc financial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for the Car & Van division.
  • Establish and maintain robust controls to ensure data integrity and completeness.
  • Own and refine balance sheet reconciliations across transition periods.
  • Assist with group reporting and year-end audit processes.
  • Contribute to ad hoc financial reporting projects and provide analysis for decision-making.
  • Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Chartered accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA qualified).
  • Previous experience in consolidation at divisional or group level.
  • Strong proficiency in handling large quantities of Excel data.
  • Experience in establishing a strong control environment, including balance sheet reconciliations.

Location and Working Arrangements:

  • Based in Leeds with agile working options.
  • Anticipated presence in the Leeds office around 2 or 3 days per week, with flexibility for remote work and travel to other offices as needed.
