Finance Business Partner | Local Government | Remote Working

Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with an ambitious Local Authority who are looking to identify a Finance Business Partner to join the Council, as part of proactive plans to strengthen their Finance Team.

This is an excellent opportunity to add value, in a role that offers predominantly remote working (occasional trips to the office).

Reporting to the Head of Finance, the key responsibilities include;

• Providing a robust accounting service to a range of key service areas
• Liaising with budget holders to produce accurate budgets and ensure that financial risk is understood
• Assisting in the training of budget holders on financial matters
• Production of KPI reports
• Presentation of financial reports to senior management
• Attendance and contribution to regular budget monitoring reports with senior stakeholder

The person;

• Qualified Accountant (or significant Sector experience)
• Ability to build relationships with non-Finance
• Public Sector Finance experience
