Finance Business Partner

Robert Half have partnered with a Bristol based utilities firm to recruit an interim Finance Business Partner to join them immediately to support with the handover period of a new hire.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a self-starter to hit the ground running and work closely with the current Finance business partner to understand the role.

Day rate: £350 - £425 per day (Umbrella)

Duration: 3-5 months (Depending on recruitment of the permanent role)

Start date: ASAP

Hybrid working: 50/50 office/home split.

You will be responsible for:

• Support site managers and the finance team with management accounting services, with a focus on financial control and performance enhancement.
• Provide finance business partnering to Performance Managers and FLM's, ensuring comprehension of TOTEX cost base and delivering consistent, timely, and accurate management information, including KPI reporting.
• Collaborate with finance team and Project Management Office to ensure effective financial management of the Network.
• Produce monthly management accounts, Balance Sheet reconciliations, journal postings, and management information from SAP and other systems.
• Create and deliver MI for internal interfaces and committees.
• Manage complex excel models for business initiatives, cost modeling, and budgets for an 8-year period.
• Propose and implement improvements.
• Coordinate with external suppliers and relevant customers.
