About the Finance Business Partner Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Finance Business Partner to join our client's finance team. This role is crucial for the ongoing development of the finance department, ensuring compliance and contributing to the company's strategic financial planning, with great training and mentorship from the Financial Controller

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in overseeing the accounting policies and protocols for group entities.
  • Assist in preparing monthly and annual financial accounts to IFRS standards.
  • Fianncial analysis, planning and reporting
  • Month end management accounts production
  • Comply with statutory reporting, manage risk, and ensure group transfer pricing compliance.
  • Manage financial operations including AP, AR, general ledger, and audit preparation.
  • Process financial transactions, payroll, and conduct bank and intercompany reconciliations.
  • Handle tax filings, VAT claims, and develop fraud detection protocols.
  • Compile R&D tax credit case files and maintain the chart of accounts.
  • Assist with ERP system operations and utilise Microsoft 365 and business intelligence tools.
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts to enhance financial processes and systems.

Finance Business Partner Profile:

  • Proven experience in finance with experience of period end processes
  • Proficient in Excel.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  • Keen to learn and develop your career
  • Shown progression in your career to date both practically and through studies ideally.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
