Finance Business Partner
Finance Business Partner - Bothwell, Glasgow - £55,000 - £65,000 - 6 Month Contract
Working for this exciting, growing, acquisitive, and profitable business, this Finance Business Partner will report directly into the Finance Director, and business partner with the commercial and operation teams, and be a credible communicator who can build strong relationships and gain buy-in from both finance and non-finance individuals. You will focus on short and mid-term planning and forecasting, and analysis of monthly and weekly performance, as well as supporting new contracts, pricing and profitability. This is a vital role in providing analysis to the board in order to support decision making. You will be someone accurate with an eye for detail and strong ability on Excel including modelling. You will also have a commercial mindset and genuine interest in learning about the business.
Key areas of the role:
- Prepare presentations and reports to the board covering weekly/monthly performance, budget and forecast, and other key analysis
- Produce the weekly KPI dashboard and update on key drivers for the business
- Extensive finance business partnering across the business
- Weekly and monthly flash and rolling forecasts
- Assist with budgeting and strategic planning
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint presentation skills
- Working with stakeholders at all levels, include non-finance individuals
- Ad-hoc modelling and analysis to support commercial projects
You will be a Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or Qualified By Experience and possess excellent communication skills and a strong commercial mindset. This business offers an excellent working environment with good career progression opportunities as well as hybrid working.
