Here at settle we are looking for a Finance Business Partner working with our Housing team. You will be responsible for the provision of technical accounting support to internal customers, ensuring that high-performance standards are met across all accounting and financial reporting-related aspects of the Business operations and that effective financial information, policies and planning systems are adhered to.

Requirements

Outline of Key Responsibilities...

  • Collaborate with other departments to align financial goals and strategies.
  • Provide timely and accurate financial reports to stakeholders.
  • Analyse financial data and recommend actionable insights.
  • Lead the month-end financial close process.
  • Reconcile accounts, verify transactions, and prepare financial statements.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards.
  • Develop and manage the annual budget for housing management.
  • Forecast revenue based on historical data, market trends, and business projections.
  • Monitor budget performance and recommend adjustments as needed.
  • Oversee payroll processes for housing management staff.
  • Monitor payroll expenses, benefits, and allowances.
  • Implement controls to prevent errors and ensure compliance.
  • Regularly reconcile balance sheet accounts.
  • Identify discrepancies and address them promptly.
  • Maintain financial integrity through effective controls.
  • Prepare for year-end financial reporting, audits, and compliance requirements.
  • Assist in closing out the financial year smoothly.
