Castlefield Recruitment are currently working in partnership with a reputable public sector organisation to recruit a Finance Business Partner on a permanent basis.

Reporting to and working closely with the Head of Finance, the Finance Business Partner will play a key role in providing a robust accounting service to a range of key service areas.

• Liaising with budget holders to produce accurate budgets and ensure that financial risk is understood
• Working with Heads of Service to identify and drive service improvements
• Training of budget holders on financial matters
• Presentation of financial reports to senior management
• Supporting the development of effective financial strategies to ensure statutory financial duties are met and the organisation is able to deliver its strategic priorities
• Management and leadership of small Finance team

The person;

• CCAB/CIMA qualified
• Proven business partnering approach
• Experience within the Public Sector
