Finance Business Partner | High growth retail | Trafford | £55,000 - £65,000

Axon Moore are excited to be partnering with an exciting high growth retail business who have aggressive growth plans in the coming years. You will be joining the business during an exciting period, as it aims to double the turnover in the next 24 months with the view of future PE investment.

This company are one of the market leaders in their industry and continue to go from strength to strength. Reporting into a high calibre Financial Controller you will also be expected to partner with several heads of departments looking to accelerate revenue and improve margins.

Responsibilities:
  • Preparation/review of the company budget, forecast and 3-year plan processes
  • Review financial results and provide detailed sales and margin variance analysis vs budgets/forecasts
  • Business partnering with cross-fincti6onal teams, supporting commercial decision making  by communicating MI to the Senior Leadership Team
  • Provide data driven insights to identify margin improvement opportunities through customer and product analysis
  • Provide insight and development of the accounts – drawing insight from data, helping the CFO and FC understand the drivers of performance
  • Ad-hoc reporting to support commercial finance, account teams and the wider business
Person Specification:
  • CIMA or ACCA/ACA qualified however QBE / Part Qualified will be considered providing you have the necessary experience
  • Strong character, good social skills and able to confident talk through the numbers in meetings
  • Results driven and detail oriented. Someone who can be trusted to deliver
  • A track record of driving process improvements and optimizing financial performance
  • Excellent stakeholder management ability, diplomatic, team player
