You will provide expert guidance to internal stakeholders such as management teams, finance departments, and senior management. Staying abreast of legislative changes and best practices is paramount to maintain compliance. Collaborating across departments, you identify opportunities for process enhancements and innovation. You oversee income posting, collection, and reporting, managing the sales ledger and debt reconciliation. Additionally, you handle commercial leases and income receivable. Serving as a business partner for the organisation, you advise on matters including community regeneration and grant funding. Financial reporting duties include preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, conducting variance analysis, and providing recommendations for corrective actions. You act as the budget holder, adhering to financial regulations. Streamlining information flow between teams and improving processes is part of your role, as is liaising with auditors and assisting in statutory and regulatory reporting. Overall, you play a pivotal role in ensuring financial efficiency and compliance within the organisation.
