An new opportunity for a Finance Business Partner, has arisen to join a business who is going through a rapid period of growth.

Subsequently they are recruiting for a Finance Business Partner to work alongside the commercial team and be responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of financial information across the companies main contracts.

Experience of Open Book accounts is advantageous.

This position is perfect for someone from Management Accounts or Finance Business Partnering background

As Finance Business Partner your role will involve:

• Completion of month end management accounts
• Support with production of weekly KPI reporting for the business
• Monthly and weekly preparation of the customer Open Book cost statements
• Business Partner with operational managers and Open Book customers, providing quality finance support.
• Support in the annual budget process and subsequent re-forecast as required by the business
• Provide weekly and monthly variance analysis of cost and KPI's against the budget.
• Support contract managers in providing commercial insight and analysis on the business results, including identifying trends.
• Ensure full and detailed reconciliations are completed monthly on all key areas of revenue and costs across your divisions.
• Continually review and challenge spend across the business maintaining and developing suitable analyses to assist operational managers with financial controls.

To apply for the position you:

• Ideally will have experience of working with the logistics / transport sector
• Will be a qualified accountant or QBE
• Have strong commercial finance skills
• Be confident in producing full sets of management accounts
• Be happy in a fairly "hands on" role
• Commercially astute, analytical with a high degree of numeracy.
• Have good problem solving skills
