Trinity House Group are retained on a fantastic Finance Business Partner role for a high growth Consultancy Business, who have built a fantastic reputation in their niche in the last 10 years since inception.

This is a newly created role and our client is looking for a professional who is very strong on systems and data manipulation. You will be working closely with the owners and SMT to present detailed MI for key decisions.

The role is fully remote and hence our client is looking for an autonomous individual.

Role

  • Provide reliable, accurate business reporting to allow the senior leadership team to make good fact-based decisions and to provide accountability
  • Monthly management accounts to include P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow
  • Monthly Sales, Utilisation and cash collection reporting
  • Work with stakeholders to generate the annual budget, business model and rolling forecasts.
  • Cost control, expenses,utilisation and revenue leakage reporting to allow business to monitor its health
  • Continuous improvement of our business systems, making our time more efficient, one source of truth and avoiding multiple locally owned excel spreadsheets.
  • Power BI reports

Person

  • Ideally at least 5 years post qualification (CIMA, ACCA or ACA)
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices
  • Experience with financial modelling and forecasting: Building accurate financial models is crucial for budgeting, investment decisions, and risk management.
  • Data analysis skills: Ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and translate them into actionable insights.
  • Technological proficiency: Familiarity with Power BI
  • Excellent communication skills: You need to communicate clearly and concisely with various stakeholders, including the board, executive team, investors, and staff.
  • Presentation skills: Delivering impactful presentations on financial performance and forecasts is an important aspect of the role.
  • Strong interpersonal skills: Building trust and rapport with colleagues and stakeholders is key to success.
