Finance Business Partner - £60,000 - Didcot - Hybrid working

Wade Macdonald are delighted to be supporting this well- known organisation to find a talented Finance Business Partner for their growing finance team.

The role of Finance Business Partner will report directly to the Head of Finance and will assist with budgets, monthly performance reporting and manage senior stakeholder relationships throughout the organisation.

Key Role Functions :

To work with the Finance team to review, enhance and automate systems to ensure better levels of productivity.

• Ensure the maintenance and enhancements of budgetary control in your areas of responsibility, including liaising with budget holders to continually monitor spend to budget and performance against target.

• Work with the Finance team to ensure that fixed asset records are accurately accounted for and maintained, including any automation.

• Ensure a robust system of internal control is maintained and working effectively in a timely manner. 

• To assist with the preparation of the annual budget and monthly performance report.

• Provide a Finance Business Partner service and liaise with relevant managers across the business to improve financial accountability and provide relevant information for decision making and business needs.

• Produce monthly budget and other ad-hoc reports, and ensuring budgetary controls are subject to continuous improvement.

• Liaise with budget holders to investigate and resolve queries.

• Have a good oversight of the treasury management function. 

• Ensure monthly reconciliations of all internal controls are carried out and supporting documentation is maintained.

• To work with the team in facilitating effective internal audit and external audit as well as ad hoc consultancy reviews as required.

Experience Required

Qualified Accountant.

A strong track record of team management in a customer facing organisation, including leading the provision of all financial planning, budgeting and accounting services.

A good understanding of accounting systems with up-to-date technical knowledge.
