An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Plymouth based client as a Finance Business Partner. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role supports an experienced and professional finance team.

The Role:

As a Finance Business Partner, you will be the day-to-day business partner to external stakeholders and be an integral part of the external financial reporting team. This would be a good first step for someone in practice wanting to transition to industry.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide technical accounting expertise and advice
  • Prepare monthly reporting pack to parent company
  • Assist with annual tax packs and liaise with tax specialists
  • Support statutory audit management and annual accounts preparation
  • Ensure accurate and compliant charges to the parent company
  • Maintain and implement internal controls

Requirements:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified preferably
  • Highly knowledgeable in accounting standards
  • Good understanding of financial regulation and compliance
  • Excellent communication both verbal and written
  • Strong IT skills including ERP systems, Intermediate Excel
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
