SF Recruitment are working with an outstanding medium sized PE Backed business in Bedford, Milton Keynes who are looking for a Finance Business Partner on a full time, permanent basis. This is a newly created opportunity for a commercially astute Finance Business Partner who will work closely with the CFO & have considerable interaction with the Financial Controller & Commercial Manager. The main purpose of the Finance Business Partner is to provide support to the operation teams & in particular the Project Managers. This role would suit a progressive individual with long term career progression available.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused Management Accountant who is looking to join a rapidly expanding business with clear career progression available. The ideal Finance Business Partner will have strong Project & Management accounting skills & have value adding Financial Planning & Analysis skills. The Finance Business Partner will have the ability to manipulate & accurately summarise large sets of data. The ideal FBP will be a qualified (ACCA/CIMA) Accountant with a progressive attitude. QBE candidates will also be considered.

Duties of the Finance Business Partner:

- Project Costing - Ensure that all costs, benefits & cash flows are robustly calculated.
- Develop and refine a costing model to standardise the way that similar projects are costed & priced.
- Estimating, budgeting and controlling costs & cash flows throughout the project life cycle
- Production of Cost to Complete reports where appropriate.
- Analyse variances in margins both within a project and between different projects.
- Cost Reduction & Efficiency
- Successfully managing capital budgets across projects detailing total Capex spend .
- Coordinate with external partners to manage financial aspects of the project and address potential impact on related projects as required.
