FP&A / Finance Business Partner

Due to their successful growth this London market underwriter are continuing to build out their FP&A and Business Partnering team. This role is ideally suited to part qualified and actively studying accountant (CIMA, ACA or ACCA) with direct experience of working within the insurance market who is looking to develop their skills within the analysis and business partnering space. This broad role will include :

  • Production and reeview of the profit & loss and balance sheets of various divisions within the group looking at performance through to analysis of actuals versus budget.
  • Production, reporting and analysis on the deliverables of the business from credit control through to cash flow, expenses through to revenue.
  • Quarterly reporting and analysis of results against budget, forecast and prior years
  • Development of financial reporting and MI
  • Support the production of the annual SBF
  • Assist with budgeting data across line of business and production of budget working closely with stakeholders
  • Assist the with the forecast P&L with key lines of business


This high profile and developmental role within this successful underwriter would suit candidates who are working through qualification with strong experience within the insurance market (Lloyd's preferred but candidates across broking, MGA etc will definitely be considered). You will be a commercially minded accountant, looking to develop your career within FP&A and Finance Business Partnering. Hybrid working model
