REED Accountancy and Finance Norwich are delighted to be recruiting for a Finance Associate to join our clients growing finance team. This role is ideal for an ambitious, adaptable, and resilient individual with a keen interest in developing a career within finance. Day-to-day of the role:

• Manage aspects of the companies shipping account within the finance team, including handling charges and deductions, and overseeing the receivables account.
• Provide ongoing recommendations for process improvements and, upon approval, implement these to enhance department efficiency.
• Responsible for creating and distributing several daily, weekly, and monthly reports, as well as improving reporting processes to meet department needs.
• Support the Assistant Accountant with month-end processes such as reconciliations, sales reports, prepayments, and accruals, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately for monthly financial reporting.
• Act as the primary cover for accounts receivable and accounts payable when required.
• Participate in the implementation of the company's new ERP system.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong Excel skills and proficiency in generating reports.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as an integral part of a team.
• Cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to work with operations, sales, product development, and IT.
• AAT qualification, part-qualified chartered accountant, or qualified by experience.
