Finance Assistant

Duties and responsibilities:
- Supporting the existing finance and accounts team
- Assisting with preparing monthly prepayments and accruals
- Assist with preparing balance sheet reconciliations.
- Posting of cash book journals and bank reconciliations
- Assisting with maintaining the fixed asset registers and posting of depreciation
- Prepare and post ad hoc payments as required
- Preparation and positing of the spreads journal to allocate shared costs
- Assist in the reconciliation of intercompany balances each month
- Assist in the distribution of petty cash to services around the business
- Provide support during the annual audit process
- Provide support on the sales ledger as and when required
Skills and experience required:
- Experience working in an Accounts/ Purchase Ledger role
- Enthusiastic and positive nature
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience using Sage (Desirable)
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
