Meraki Talent is currently looking for an Accounts Assistant to join one of our clients in Glasgow City Centre. This position will play a crucial role in supporting various accounting functions and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, excellent organisational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash transactions
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Provide support for audits and compliance activities
- Assist with ad hoc projects and tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
