Kenneth Brian Associates are recruiting for an amazing company in their search for a Finance Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. The role is due to growth within the company they are looking for someone who has a good knowledge of transactional accounts but someone who is looking to learn from Financial Controller and would like to progress with the role in to becoming a Finance Manager.

Main Duties:

  • Process AP invoices
  • Process employee expenses
  • VAT return preparation
  • Monthly GL journals
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Credit control
  • Payment run preparation
  • Other ad-hoc finance duties
  • Support with AR invoices for holiday cover
  • Support with PO raising process for holiday cover

Once comfortable with the above, the role will progress to include the following duties.

  • Intercompany transactions/reconciliation
  • Control of group cashflows for shareholder reporting
  • Other management reporting on an ad-hoc basis
  • Review and assistance with YE close process and annual accounts
  • ONS surveys
  • Insurance and other contract management
  • Management of payroll

About You:

  • Well organized, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Pro-active communicator.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Intermediate/advanced Excel skills.
  • Team-player with strong people skills.
