Reed are working in partnership with a client in Sherwood and are seeking a Finance Assistant.

This role is permanent, full-time and hybrid working is available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Invoice processing using Sage accounting system. Accurately recording expenditure incurred by the business
  • Cashbook – transactional processing of all payments and receipts throughout each month by all departments of the business
  • Bank reconciliations – monthly reconciliation of the balance sheet to the bank statements received
  • Sales invoicing – accurate recording of all revenue steams and issuing appropriate invoices
  • Generating payments – using the company’s bank infrastructure to ensure all suppliers are paid in a timely manner
  • Assisting in the production of monthly Management Accounts

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Wil have AAT Level 3 or working towards this
  • Will have great Microsoft experience, particularly Word and Excel
  • Will have experience of using Sage
  • Will have the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
  • Will be a team player
