Fin Search are recruiting a Finance Assistant - Billing on a permanent basis for a leading, expanding services business based in Harrogate.

This is a hybrid role - 3 days in the office and 2 days a week at home.

As a Finance Assistant - Billing, this role will work as part of a fast paced team responsible for the accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.

Duties will include, however are not limited to, assisting with the monthly billing run, reconciliations to include invoices and accounts, reporting as required, billing administration, investigating discrepancies and resolving them and continuously looking for opportunities to develop and improve processes and procedures.

This is a brilliant opportunity for a strong finance assistant, billing administrator or graduate looking to make a move in to finance. This role could open up long term internal opportunities, to include management accounts, if desired. Alternatively, there are opportunities to progress within team leader roles.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have worked in an accounts receivable, billing or accounts payable role previously
  • Have excellent attention to detail
  • Have strong verbal and written communication skills
