This large, Durham based public sector organisation have a need for an experienced Finance Assistant to join the Student Services team at a Band 3 for 12 months (fixed term contract).

Your new role

Financial Services is part of the Finance Department and includes all the processing areas: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Treasury Services.Reporting to the Student Services Assistant Manager, this is a business-facing function supporting the organisation as a whole and at all levels with respect to key processing within the Student Services team. Duties will include maintenance of master data for billing purposes, assisting with the raising of invoices for tuition fees and residence charges to students and sponsors, dealing with queries, processing student withdrawals and concessions and operating direct debits.

Experience of working within billings and / or Finance is essential to this role as the client is looking to appoint a candidate who can hit the ground running.What you'll get in return
