Ashberry Recruitment is currently looking for a Finance and Administration Officer, with the main focus being financial aspects, monitoring income and expenditure on an ongoing basis alongside the manager, therefore a good understanding of finances is essential.

Our client provides supported accommodation to young people, which provides the, with the skills, knowledge and confidence needed for independent living.

Main responsibilities

  • Support management with budget monitoring and collating invoices and expenditure on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Supervision of two staff
  • Monitor income and expenditure against original budget and revised forecasts
  • Completing H&S returns and a GDPR audit to evidence compliance with requirements
  • Maintaining a petty cash account & processing Invoices
  • Managing VOIDS and repairs
  • Keeping track of rent accounts
  • Working with the management team to ensure income is maximized (including Housing Benefit)
  • Prepare financial reports
  • Analysing expenditure and collating data
  • Buying and keeping track of supplies
  • Admin support to managers and service staff

Requirements

  • Excellent experience of using IT packages
  • Excellent MS, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Understanding and experience within financial role
  • Budgeting and reporting
  • Numerate, accurate, methodical and analytical

Salary/Hours

  • 36.25 Hours per week (Monday - Friday) - Possible Hybrid working
  • £24,960 - £28,080 per annum (£13.24 - £14.90 per hour)
