Finance Analyst

Blackwaters are recruiting a Finance Analyst, for a part qualified candidate looking for more of a commercial move, for a Global Distribution Business, with remote work flexibility and 2 days a month in Bracknell. Salary £45,000 + 10% bonus.

The role of a Finance Analyst is integral to the success of the global Distribution Business, supporting the European VP of Networking & Security division. You will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive analysis and acting as the central liaison between the commercial team and finance. Building strong relationships with top management, you will ensure alignment between financial objectives and business strategy, leading European projects with financial implications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and deliver timely month-end results, including Quarterly Business Review decks for both internal stakeholders and vendors.
• Coordinate and oversee the preparation of budgets and forecasts for the division, working closely with business leaders.
• Partner with business leaders to develop action plans aimed at improving margins and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure adherence to HC and payroll guidelines, including vendor-funded HC.
• Act as a trusted advisor on finance matters, providing expert guidance on vendor onboarding and contract negotiations.
• Support vendor teams in securing senior leadership approval for new programs by preparing compelling financial presentations and addressing inquiries promptly.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Part qualified - actively studying.
• Proven experience in financial analysis or business partnering roles.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate findings effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels of the organisation.
• Ability to work independently and remotely, while also collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
