Finance Analyst
Our client, a well-established, multi-sited business are seeking a Finance Analyst to join their Commercial Finance team based in High Wycombe on a hybrid basis.
Reporting into the FP&A Manager, typical responsibilities will be to:
- Develop and maintain revenue tools for quick, accurate decision making.
- Understand the underlying causes of low profitability and instigate action to resolve/improve.
- Build new financial models where needed for profit and loss analysis.
- Build and develop improved KPI reporting package including P&L, balance sheet and cashflow forecast.
- Analyse trends in the different Business Segments and create financial models to illustrate those.
- Prepare and distribute analysis and insight to management in a timely manner.
- Assist in coordination of Budget and Forecast roll ups and loads.
- Help prepare business presentations to management.
- Support the FP&A Manager with ad hoc requests.
- Assist with regular monthly and weekly reporting.
- Perform regular and ad hoc analysis of key data elements to ensure consistency and integrity of reporting.
- Support the provision of all commercial data and analysis.
- Assist with preparing presentations for Senior Management.
- Reporting and analysis on key KPIs.
Suitable candidates must be at least part qualified, and have some previous experience in a similar Finance Analyst role. You should be analytically minded, have good attention to detail and be a team player. You will have excellent organisational skills and able to communicate efficiently. Strong database management, systems and Excel skills are important.
In return our client is offering a salary £40,000-£48,000 (depending on your experience) hybrid working, good benefits which include an enhanced pension. There would potentially be a study support package for those looking to progress in Finance.
