Finance Analyst

Finance Analyst - London/hybrid - Competitive salary, bonus & benefits

My client, a global healthcare company based in Central London, is looking to recruit an Finance Analyst. The successful candidate will support the Senior Finance Business Partner, with the finance analysis and reporting for new product launches, product cost analysis and the packaging business. The role will model, analyse and communicate key metrics and drivers of the business with clear ability to create insightful analysis, particularly as it relates to the business unit, revenue, profit and product performance.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide reporting and forecasting across full P&L
• Drive, track and report on key Private Label and Product initiatives and projects
• Identify and evaluate trends to establish and highlight risks and opportunities
• Support in the financial reporting, tracking and forecasting of Private label new product launches
• Support in the financial evaluation of business case templates and post investment appraisals and validation of key modelling assumptions
• Through strong collaboration with other teams, provide key inputs and insights into the Private Label monthly reporting and budget and forecasting cycles
• Leverage technology and best practices to drive overall process improvements and efficiencies

Key skills:

• Previous experience of FP&A, Financial Reporting, or Accounting related experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance and finance qualifications
• Financial modelling and P&L experience
• Experienced in complex financial analysis
• Motivated self-starter, ability to initiate and manage projects with minimal supervision
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint presentation skills
• Ability to perform and deliver quality results within a highly matrixed environment
• Ability to problem solve with strong analytical and financial modelling skills - ability to identify the root cause of issues, propose possible solutions or improvements and influence ultimate decision
