Orka Financial is currently partnering with a business based in Reading that is looking to recruit a Commercial Finance Analyst to join the team. Reporting to a Senior Finance Analyst the focus of the role is to support the budget holders and the Senior Finance Analyst by providing financial and commercial advice and functional support to the portfolio.

Duties include,

Review contracts budgets/forecasts with budget holders, providing point of contact for challenge, clarification, and areas of risk/opportunity within contract financial performance.

Support the delivery of financial goals and ensure they lie within required business and contract priorities.

Produce the summary monthly reporting pack and supporting narrative for the portfolio of projects to ensure accurate information and variance analysis is fed into the consolidated accounts.

Support in the provision of visibility on the financial performance of contracts in the short, medium and long term.

Ensure that where appropriate activities meet or improve on budget, cost, volume and efficiency targets and KPIs in line with business objectives.

You may be AAT qualified or studying towards a professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA ) Study support will be provide. Knowledge and experience of a financial role where building relationships and supporting non-finance professionals has been fundamental part of the role is required.
