Finance Analyst |Manufacturing| London - Hybrid | £60,000 - £70,000

An International Mining Group are looking for a personable and proactive Finance Analyst to join the team. This would be a great first move into industry; building up your budgeting, forecasting and modelling skills. This role will see you report to the UK based FP&A Manager, and provide you with scope to grow and be exposed to all things FP&A. You will business partner with the Operations teams, with occasional travel..

What you will be doing:

  • Assist in creating and presenting monthly budgets and forecasts to the Senior Leadership team and board
  • Assist with building financial models for 3 and 5 year plans, to support business planning and align with strategic objectives
  • Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations, providing commentary on AP&AR Transactions
  • Provide market trend analysis and monitor competitor performance, assessing potential risk/opportunities
  • Provide KPIs to senior stakeholders, collaborating cross-functionally across the business to help optimise financial performance

What we are looking for:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Experience in transactional services/corporate finance ideal
  • Previous experience within the manufacturing industry
  • Strong analytical capabilities with proficiency in financial modelling
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experience with Power BI ideal
