As a Finance Administrator you'll ensure accurate payments for our staff and officers, following rules and agreements. Your job is to maintain confidentiality and meet deadlines. This role is hybrid working but only going into the office 1 day a month which is in Southampton.

Client Details

Our client is a highly reputable business based in central Southampton. Due to a period of business growth, they require extra support within their transactional Accountancy finance function. The offices are very easy to commute to - especially via public transport.

Description

The key responsibilities for the Finance Administrator role:

Welcome to the spotlight! You'll dazzle audiences by working within the guidelines of our Service Delivery and Client policies, ensuring every note hits its mark and all Audit requirements are met without missing a beat. You'll be the star of the show when it comes to handling queries from our customers, both backstage and in the limelight, conveying professionalism and efficiency with every interaction. And when the script calls for it, you'll pass the torch to our Payroll Management team.

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you'll take center stage for all aspects of payroll work, ensuring the show goes on without a hitch. You'll be the choreographer of change, ensuring that all National or Local payroll adjustments are executed flawlessly, leaving our audiences informed and impressed. And behind the scenes, you'll keep the script up to date, ensuring that all documentation relating to statutory legislation and Terms & Conditions of service is readily available to the rest of the team.

But wait, there's more! You'll also be the validator of truth, verifying written responses to queries and ensuring that all payroll records are in perfect harmony. You'll be the magician of numbers, ensuring that manual payments are calculated with precision and raised on cue. And when the show calls for it, you'll step into the role of specialist, mastering new acts such as reporting, salary sacrifice, or attachment of earnings, adding depth and dimension to your performance.
