Job Description:

Recruit UK are working on an exciting opportunity for a Finance Administrator to join a solicitor’s practice.

Our client is a highly successful solicitors, who work with both private and corporate clients across the South East. They pride themselves on their industry knowledge, quality of service they offer all clients, as well as the supportive culture they have for their employee’s. As they continue to expand, they are looking for a Finance Administrator to join their back-office team.

Duties will include but not limited to:

  • Ensure financial transactions are correctly posted in accordance with the SRA accounts and FCA rules
  • Prepare office cheques, ensuring requests for funds are appropriately authorised
  • Post disbursement invoices to client ledgers daily
  • Process supplier invoices, ensuring nominal coding is correct and reconcile invoices
  • Staff expenditure
  • Release CHAPS payments, foreign payment, BACS payments
  • Prepare client cheques, disbarments, expenditures

Skills and experience required:

  • Experience working in an account department
  • Similar experience in solicitors desirable
  • Strong numeracy skills
