Finance Administrator to manage the purchase ledger function within a small and family friendly accounting team. You will be responsible for ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately and promptly.

You will be working for a not-for-profit organisation based in Warrington, employing several hundred professionals across different divisions and sectors. They have a strong community focus and are driven by their commitment to making a difference.

Description

  • Manage the purchase ledger function within the finance department
  • Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and promptly
  • Prepare monthly payment runs and ad-hoc payments when required
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies
  • Assist with month-end close processes and reporting
  • Work closely with other finance team members and liaise with suppliers

Profile

A successful Finance Administrator should have:

  • Relevant and up to date experience raising and producing invoices
  • Experience in a similar role, ideally within the not-for-profit sector
  • Excellent numerical and analytical abilities
  • Proficiency with accounting software
  • A keen attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • An understanding of confidentiality and data protection issues
