FINANCE ADMINISTRATOR – Newry Area

SALARY: £13.90 an hour

EMPLOYMENT: Full-time, hybrid, temporary basis (12 + months)

Reed Accountancy is partnered with a fantastic client in the Newry area in the recruitment of a Finance Administrator to work full-time on a 12 + month temporary basis.

Playing an integral role within the accounts team, the temporary Finance Administrator will be responsible to the Finance Manager.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintenance of purchase ledger on Integra accounting system, including purchase orders, invoice, and payment processing
  • Preparation of bank reconciliations using Excel/Integra
  • Processing of payments using on-line banking
  • General finance administration e.g. petty cash, bank lodgements.
  • Data processing
  • Telephone and correspondence handling.
  • Recording, filing and retrieval of information and documentation in accordance with records management policy.
  • Liaising with suppliers/contractors.

What you’ll need to succeed!

  • Experience of working in a financial administration role.
  • Experience in the use of computerised accounting packages.
  • Working knowledge and application of Microsoft Office in a business context
  • Dealing effectively with customer queries in person and by telephone
  • Ability to effectively input financial data, including checking for and maintaining accuracy.
