Manchester Staff is currently looking for a talented Finance Administrator to join a leading company in the education industry to join their finance department and contribute to the smooth operation of financial processes.

Position Overview:
As a Finance Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting financial operations. You will be responsible for executing various administrative tasks related to finance, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance at all times. This role offers an exciting opportunity for someone with strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail to make a significant impact within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the processing of invoices, payments, and receipts accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and reconcile company expenses, ensuring adherence to budgetary guidelines and policies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
  • Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports, summaries, and forecasts as required by management.
  • Collaborate with the finance team in the development and monitoring of budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Provide support during internal and external audits, including gathering necessary documentation and information.
  • Undertake additional finance-related tasks and projects as assigned by the finance manager or senior leadership.
  • Be a go too member of the finance team for all internal staff members

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Xero and Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Commitment to upholding the highest standards of integrity and confidentiality.
