Field Service Technician

Ferno has an opportunity for a Field Service Technicianto join our friendly team. Due to continued growth of the Company, we are looking for another Field Service Technician based in the North London area. Joining us on a full time, permanent basis, you will receive a competitive salary, dependent upon experience, plus excellent benefits.This role is ideal for a mechanical technician who can repair equipment, vehicles, or machines. It would also be an advantage if you have electrical fault-finding experience. Training will be provided with ongoing support.

About the Field Service Technician role:

Service, maintain, and repair of mechanical engineered and powered products such as ambulance stretchers and carry chairs; full training will be provided with ongoing support.

This additional position to our team will not only provide excellent customer service but will also be responsible for ensuring that the emergency and rescue services are able to continue to rely on their vital equipment and always keep their fleet of vehicles on the road.

• Responsibility for maintaining the company vehicle in good order and control own stock levels of replacement parts for equipment
• Have knowledge and experience of fault diagnosis and the ability to remedy those faults
• Experience of working unsupervised by showing autonomy and professionalism within the boundaries of the role
• Enthusiastically want to go that ‘extra mile’ for our customers
• Ability to efficiently complete service paperwork and electronic reports
• Time management skills are essential; arrival on-site and on-time and the ability to complete the tasks within an agreed time scale
• Trustworthy, passionate and a motivated team player with a flexible approach
• Must have a current full UK driving Licence
• Eligible to work in the UK
