Field service engineer required for a manufacturer and supplier of compressed air systems and pneumatics based in central Bristol – BS1.
  • Permanent, full time role
  • £30,000 - £42,000 per annum DOE, plus call out rate 
  • 40 working hours per week – paid door to door
  • Overtime paid after 40hrs
  • 23 days holiday per annum, plus bank holidays

About the role
  • Travelling primarily within the South West but sometimes to other parts of the country
  • Effectively diagnose mechanical and electrical faults on customer equipment
  • Undertake planned and preventative maintenance on compressors and a range of ancillary equipment and compressed air systems
  • Perform emergency breakdown faultfinding and repair
  • Install and commission compressors and compressed air systems, aluminium and steel pipework
  • Complete necessary paperwork, such as risk assessments, method statements, service reports, timesheets or job sheets

The right candidate
  • Full UK manual driving licence
  • Willing to undertake occasional overnight stays when traveling for work, as required
  • Excellent communication / customer service skills
  • IT literate
  • Electrical and mechanical fault-finding experience
  • Previous experience in a field-based service role
  • Previous experience of working with compressed air equipment
