Our client is one of Europe’s market leaders in customer operated access and pay technology. This business develops and manufactures its own technology and systems and partners a wide variety of customers ranging from local authorities to transport and infrastructure companies and large scale private sector organisations. They are know for the reliability of their equipment and the high standard of service provided by their engineering staff.

They are seeking an additional  FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER to join their fare collection team looking after their customers predominantly (but not exclusively) in the West London & Surround counties.

You will be responsible for the maintenance, service and repair of fare collection systems in various locations across the region. The role will involve working with a variety of different customers from many different sectors so your customer service skills will be as important as your technical expertise.

The repairs involve electro/mechanical fault finding as well as some low level network configuration.

In order to be considered you will need to demonstrate:

• A strong background within Engineering, in a field based role maintaining and repairing electrical & mechanical equipment. 

• Proven ability to deal directly with customers in a professional manner

• Driving licence with no more than three penalty points
