We are seeking a Service Engineer to join a well-established company, primarily handling day-to-day service calls and system commissioning as required. This role is ideal for someone who is IP and IT proficient and has experience with security systems, although training will be provided for the right candidate.

Day to day of the role:

• Commissioning of security systems, including wireless transmission, with training provided as necessary.
• Responding to reactive and scheduled service fault calls, as well as handling small works.
• Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and other key stakeholders during project installations.
• Participating in the on-call rota (1 in 5 weeks).
• Taking responsibility for collating all commissioning information and assisting with the formulation of Operations & Maintenance manuals.
• Providing technical support to site issues, supporting other engineers and colleagues.
• Ensuring compliance with all Health & Safety policies.
• Assisting with second-tier standby support by prior agreement.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in IP and IT.
• Experience with Synectics, Dallmeier, PAC Cloud, GDX, Siklu Wireless, or public space CCTV is preferred.
• Willingness to undergo formal manufacturer, Health & Safety, and other necessary training.
• CSCS, ECS, or equivalent certification.
• IPAF licence is preferred.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours and participate in an on-call rota.
• Ability to work independently from home and travel to sites or the office as required.
