My client is a leading provider of specialist equipment, they provide solutions to their clients throughout the UK. Due to continued expansion, they have an immediate requirement for a Field Service Engineer to join their engineering team in the Bristol or close surrounding areas. The successful Field Service Engineer will travel to customer sites and will carry out inspections, service fault finding and repairs to the company’s range of equipment.

Field Service Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Travel to customer sites and carry the service, inspection, fault finding and repair of company equipment.
  • Fitting and removal of new and hire equipment.
  • Provide support of the company products during the warranty period.
  • Completing detailed work records and reports
  • Work directly with the Service team and provide daily updates with progress made.
  • Assisting in the company workshop if required.

Field Service Engineer Requirements:

  • Ideally hold a mechanical engineering qualification with experience of working with hydraulics.
  • Proven hands on mechanical skills.
  • Able to work alone and also as part of a team on occasion.
  • Happy to travel on a daily basis.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Field Service Engineer Benefits:

  • Salary is £33,154 per annum.
  • Guaranteed 6% overtime allowance.
  • Monday to Friday - 8.30am - 5pm.
