Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Field Service Engineer for our client based in Suffolk on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will be based from home and from there attend customer sites to carry out servicing and repairs on a wide range of forklifts and material handling equipment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out repairs and servicing a wide range of forklifts and handling equipment.
  • Liaising with service controller on a daily basis.
  • Mechanical repairs.
  • Hydraulic repairs.
  • Electrical repairs.
  • Fault finding.
  • Providing excellent customer service.

Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications:

  • 3 years+ experience in the materials handling industry (as an engineer)
  • Mechanical, hydraulic and electrical experience preferred
  • Proficient in fault finding and repair.
  • Experience of Health & Safety requirements working in a workshop practice.
  • Commitment to continuing personal and professional development.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • A high standard of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team.
  • Good communication skills.

Working hours are Monday - Friday.

In return our client offers a salary between £27,500 - £33,500 per annum, overtime paid at time and a half, company van and fuel card and a yearly basis which could bring earnings up to £40,000 per annum with overtime.
