Field Service Engineer

Your future employer is offering an excellent opportunity to join their growing team as a Field Service Engineer. The package includes a competitive salary of £29,000, along with benefits such as 23 days of holiday (plus bank holidays), unlimited overtime, flexible working hours, private use of the company vehicle, and door-to-door rates of pay. With unlimited overtime available, the expected on-target earnings are within the range of £32,000 to £34,000.

The ideal candidate will be someone who has previous electrical engineering experience, carrying our planned and reactive maintenance, fault-finding and diagnostics, and someone who is able to provide excellent customer service. Previousl electrical experience is absolutely required, however full training will be provided.

Responsibilities of the Field Service Engineer include:

• Carry out reactive and planned maintenance across the company portfolio of catering and bakery equipment
• Attend manufacturer training courses of the equipment
• Carry out fault finding for reactive repairs
• Provide excellent customer service and communication with customers
• Complete all necessary job sheets and liaising closely with the service desk
• Maintaining van stock and general vehicle maintenance as required
• Attend other machines across the companies portfolio once trained

Required experience of the Field Service Engineer:

• Minimum 1 years electrical engineering experience
• Proficient fault-finding skills, including the use of a multi-meter
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• A full, clean UK driver's license
